Pain for a wordy purpose is suffering. Now what can be more wordy than the health of your soul.
So if you know that your pain serves a purpose and that purpose is your spiritual growth, that is suffering. That is feeling the part of your personality that doesn't trust the universe. That is feeling the part of your personality that does not feel wordy. That is feeling the part of your personality that must have something or someone else in order to feel valuable enough to be alive on this hearth. To have the courage to do that is suffering....
